CRAB GHEE ROAST(NO GRINDING MASALA)


                       CRAB GHEE ROAST




Crab ghee roast is a popular Mangalorean dish which uses spices and clarified butter to roast the crab. Usually spices are dry roasted & then ground into a masala but I have used masala powder available at home to make the dish supper easy and delicious at the same time.

Ingredients

Ghee 4 tbsp

Onion 2

Tomato 1

Turmeric powder 1/4tsp

Ginger Garlic Paste 1/2 tbsp

Garam masala 1/2 tbsp

Red Chilli Powder 2-3tbsp

Tamarind pulp 2 tbsp

Salt as per taste

Sugar a pinch

Coriander leaves for garnish

Boiled crab 🦀

* Heat ghee in a wok.

* Add onion

* Fry until golden brown

* Add tomato

* Saute until soft

* Add ginger garlic paste

* Saute for 1min

* Add turmeric powder, garam masala, chilli powder, tamarind pulp

* Mix well

* Add boiled crab 🦀

* Mix well 

* Close lid and let it cook for 5min.

* Add chopped coriander

* Ready to serve
