Paneer Butter Masala / PANEER MAKHANI / COTTAGE CHEESE GRAVY

                     Paneer Butter Masala 

                 Paneer butter masala is popular Punjabi dish. It is a slightly sweet creamy dish of paneer, in which gravy is prepared using tomato,cashew,garam masala,cream & butter.
     Paneer Butter Masala goes so well with Ghee Rice, Jeera Rice,Roti,Paratha or Naan.
 
       Paneer Butter Masala Recipe

Ingredients
 
Onion 2
Tomato 2
Dry Red Chilli 3
Cinnamon small piece
Cardamon 2
clove 2
Butter 2 tbsp
pepper 1 tsp
cashew 20 gm
Oil 2 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder 1 tbsp
Coriander Powder
Turmeric Powder a pinch
Sugar 1/4 tsp
Kasturi methi 1 tsp
Fresh Cream 1 tbsp

Method 

  •  In a pan add 1 Tbsp Butter & 2 Tbsp Oil 
 
  • Add Chopped Onion & saute till translucent
 
  •  Add Cardamon,Cinnamon,Cloves

  • Add Tomato & Red Dry Chilli     
 
  •  Saute for few minutes 
 
  •  Let it completely cool-down then grind into smooth-paste.
 
  • In same pan add  1 tbsp butter & add 1 tbsp saute for few seconds 
 
  •  Add Grinded masala 

 
  •  Fry the masala for few minutes

  • Add water & mix

  •  Add Coriander Powder,Turmeric Powder & Sugar 

  • Let the gravy boil keep stirring occasionally

  •  Add Fresh cream,Kasturi meethi 

  • Gravy is ready to serve.
