RICE LADOO RECIPE
Traditional Mangalorean Sweet made with brown rice, jaggery, fresh coconut, ghee and nuts. These laddu's are much healthier then regular store brought sweets
INGREDIENTS
Rice 1cup
Jaggery 250gm
Ghee 2tbsp
Cashew 50gm
Raisin 50gm
Coconut grated 1/2cup

• Dry roast the rice in batch.
• Roast until rice puffs
• Let it cooldown
• Grind the puff rice into fine powder
• Heat ghee add cashew & raisins
• Fry until cashew is golden brown & raisins puffs.
• Melt jaggery (add 1cup water)
• Add freshly grated coconut, cashew & raisin and rice flour.
• Mix well
• Let it cooldown a bit
• Make a lodoo
• Enjoy Eating
