Fried Onion Chicken Kurma | Brown Onion Chicken Masala | Caramelized Onion Chicken Curry
Crispy fried onion & nuts paste gives a creamy moist texture that's what makes the gravy coat the chicken superbly and keeps the chicken moist and flavorful in every bite!
Ingredients
For Marination
Chicken 2kg
Chilli powder 2tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
Lemon juice 1/2
For Preparation
Onion 6
Tomato 4
Ginger Garlic paste 1tbsp
Green Chilli 4
Cashew nuts 50gm
Garam Masala 2tbsp
Oil 2tbsp
Butter 1tbsp
Salt as per taste
Coriander leaves for garnish

-In a bowl mix all the Marination ingredients & mix well
- Marinate 30mins
- Slice the onion & fry the onion (caramelize) & transfer to a bowl & let it cooldown
- Grind it into paste (without water)
- Prepare tomato puree & Cashew nut paste
- In a wok heat oil 2tbsp & butter 1tbsp
- Add onion paste, ginger garlic paste, tomato puree &Cashewnut paste
- Fry for a minute
-Add Salt as per taste and Green chilli
- Add water 1 cup let it boil
- Add Marinated chicken
- Add 2cup water and mix well
- Close lid and cook for 20- 30mins
- Garnish with a coriander leaves
Enjoy with rice,rote,appam etc.
