Temple Style Pineapple Curry

Perfect combination of multiple flavours in a single curry. It is typically prepared during feast for religious and marriage ceremony and is served with rasam and rice.

Ingredients
Pineapple 1
Mustard 1tsp
Oil 3tbsp
Curry leaves 1stem
Dry Red Chilli 8
Urad dal 1/4cup
Sesame seeds 1tsp
Cumin seeds 1tsp
Coriander seeds 1tsp
Coconut 1cup
Jaggery 3-4tbsp
Turmeric 1/2tsp
Salt as per taste



Method
* Heat a cooker
* Add 2tbsp oil
* Add mustard seeds,curry leaves & 2dry red chilli
* Add chopped pineapple
* Close the lid and cook for 2 whistle
* In a small kadai heat oil 1tbsp
* Roast urad dal, sesame,cumin,coriander seeds & 6 dry red chilli
* Let it cool down
* Transfer into grinder
* Add coconut grated & turmeric
* Add little water
* Grind into fine paste
* Open the cooker and add the masala
* Add little water
* Add salt as per taste
* Add jaggery (adjust according to sweeten of pineapple)
* Mix well
* Let masala boil
