Typical south canara dish which is prepared of Breadfruit also known as Jeegujje in Mangalore.It belongs to same family as jackfruit.
It's a soft,buttery vegetable which most of you might have tasted if not grab some & try out the recipe.

Ingredients
Bread fruit 1
Onion 1
Tomato 1
Jeera 1tsp
Mustard 1tsp
Hing 1/2tsp
Curry leaves few
Oil 2tbsp
Grated Coconut 2tbsp
Sukka Masala 2tbsp
Method
*Peel & Cut Breadfruit & soak in water
* Heat a kadai
*Add 2tbsp oil
*Add Cumin, mustard,hing, curry leaves
*Add onion and tomato
*Fry for few sec
*Add Breadfruit stir-fry
*Add 1/2cup water
*Salt as per taste
* Close lid let it cook 10min

*Mix well
*Ready to serve
